Mike Strang current Director of Operations will become interim CEO of Venture Trust when Amelia Morgan leaves in early February 2021.
Amelia has led the organisation for the last five years overseeing a significant change agenda. Susan Davies, Chair of the trustees commented: “We are grateful to Amelia for her service and commitment to furthering the impact and contribution of Venture Trust. During her tenure, Venture Trust has supported around 7000 people in their personal development and more than 1800 went on to enter employment, education, training or volunteering.”
The Board of trustees is pleased to announce that Mike Strang, Director of Operations will step-up on an interim basis bringing many years of experience of supporting young people to realise their potential. Ms Davies added: “Mike’s appointment offers excellent continuity and enables us to maintain momentum on our strategy and plans to tackle inequality in Scotland. The recruitment of a permanent CEO is now underway.”
