We are looking for new Board Members who are dynamic, with capacity to contribute, and willing to share their expertise and ideally to also engage their network to broaden and deepen support for Venture Trust. An affinity with our work, supporting people in their development to overcome life challenges, is essential.
Our Trustees
The Board of Trustees lead the organisation bringing a range of expertise, skills and experience and offering objectivity, support and challenge, and policy and business insights working with the senior leadership team to shape and drive Venture Trust’s strategy and plans.
Desirable Skills
We would be particularly interested in hearing from people with experience and expertise in:
- Trauma-informed approach to supporting people
- Finance
- Communications and social media
- Policy, criminal justice and legal

Additional Information
The positions are voluntary in a national third sector organisation that has important stature in Scotland.
